Developmental Drama to build children's confidence, creativity and public speaking skills using drama games, exercises and acting opportunities.
Snack break will be 3:30-3:45 p.m. Please send a healthy snack for after school.
Parent Volunteers: The teacher's are requesting a few parent volunteers. Most importantly, they are hoping parents can organize to allow two parents to sign out students whose parents are late picking up. We will send an e-mail request to parents once we have met the minimum enrollment for the class. Secondly, they would like to have parents potentially available to help set up and clean up the room.
Scholarship Policy:
Spring Quarter Scholarship Requests for After School Programs are open from March 4th to March 15th. You must now request a scholarship BEFORE you register. Please read the following carefully.
Cascade K-8 PTSA and its enrichment provider partners are committed to making our enrichment classes accessible to everyone in our school community, regardless of parent's financial ability to pay. Scholarships of 25% and 50% can be requested via the form:https://goo.gl/forms/ckH3f0imA4IxZs403
If you need to request a scholarship over 50% you must submit your request in writing via e-mail and include your student's information and the class they wish to register for. Send your request to scholarships@cascadek8ptsa.org (requests on paper may not be read or awarded). Scholarship requests over 50% will be reviewed and approved by the Scholarship Committee.
Higher scholarship request amounts must be submitted in writing (by e-mail only) and approved by the scholarship committee, e-mail scholarships@cascadek8ptsa.org by March 10th. Requests submitted by paper may not be processed.
If you receive a scholarship, you will also receive a coupon code that you will use when you register (between March 11th and March 25th). You must use a debit/credit card to pay the balance owed at the time you register. Only register for the course(s) your requested scholarship and that you child intends to take. Coupon only valid 1 time.
Registration: Cascade K8 students registration will be open from March 11th-March 28th. HEE students may register from March 25-March 28. No registrations will be accepted after March 28th. Price includes a small fee to cover the cost of the credit card transaction. All classes (with or without scholarships) must be paid for at the time of registration using a credit card.
1) Select the class(es) you are registering for and go to the checkout screen.
2) Enter the Scholarship code sent to you in the Coupons/Promotions section of the checkout screen.
3) Use a debit/credit card to pay the balance owed to complete the registration for your class(es).
Donations: We also ask all parents who are able to pay full price (or more) to please do so, in order to help those less fortunate. Paying over the required tuition to support our after school programs helps to sustain and continue this policy of universal access and strengthens our community.
Withdrawing: You may withdraw from the class through the end of your registration period (March 28th). Keep in mind that teachers need to begin their quarter with a firm list of students. Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment may be cancelled. For that reason, once you register, you are committing to the teacher.
