Our student leadership group, the Associated Student Body (ASB), hosts Bike-a-Thon each year to raise money for our exciting programs and activities. Each student chooses a distance to ride for the Bike-a-Thon, and then asks friends, relatives, and parents to sponsor their efforts. This is one of our oldest and largest fundraising traditions, and it is quite a sight to see our entire student body biking together (rain or shine)! While the event is organized and hosted by the ASB, the parent group provides hundreds of hours of volunteer time, cookies for the lunch break, and lots of moral support!

Information regarding the 2011 Bike-a-Thon:

Bike-a-Thon will be Friday, October 21st, 2011.

Students should choose whether they will be riding or walking – when discussing with them, be encouraging (but realistic)!

  • Riding – 3, 8, 11, 16 or 22 miles
  • Walking – 3 or 5 miles

There are many opportunities for parents to support Bike-a-Thon:

  • Ride/walk with the students
  • Transportation of bikes
  • Organize lunch
  • Run a checkpoint station
  • Bake cookies!

Bike-a-Thon forms were sent home via school mail, and are also available for download.
